"ein-stür-dzenduh noy-bow-tun" That's the way I've heard them pronounce it, except for the pronunciation subtleties that I can't even begin to try to explain.
I love German and French. I get a thrill out of hearing them for some reason. Some dialects more than others though. There's a monologue in German by Marion in "Der Himmel über Berlin" (Wings of Desire), that I taped and played over and over again because I was addicted to its musicality. I believe she is French though, so it had an added layer. Also the narrator and his poetry. wow. Has anyone here seen this movie, and know what I am talking about? Sorry for the tangent. Then there's Edith Piaf. mmmmm
