depends what you expect of a live band
I heard Green Day plays We are the Champions live
I guess I wouldn't spend 190 euro for that

Dust off my keyboard and mouse - long time no post etc....
If I end up having to buy any more Pixies tickets on Swizbay I will fucking riot.
Someone please alert me when there is a sniff of this gig.

Nice to see you back Mike! A brillant Pixies summer gig would be a great opportunity for meeting up with Bazza again and excessive pint drinking!

First of all, everyone should keep calling it Witness... Second of all, Kasabian are the most important band of 1997, and this is 2005. I read that somewhere and it struck me as one of the truest criticisms I'd ever seen.

Nah, the Weezer tour is'nt happening. It would be cool if Pixies were added to Oxegen, then again I'd like to seem 'em do there own show someplace. |

Was the band called Doolittle? They were playing the TMBC a few months ago as well, but I found out after the gigs. Finally saw them in the buttery and they were great. The lead singer even looked quite like a young Black Francis.
Kasabian's album being released this year was the point, it would've been possibly important but at least revelant 8 years ago, now it's just more music that sounds like everyone else.

I have to agree on the Kasabian thing, I haven't heard anything by them that doesn't want to make me throw things at the stereo
cats have nine lives/ which makes them ideal for experimentation |

A fiend of mine has a band called The Blips;the Hothouse Flowers' drummer played with them (He is'nt really there regular drummer-I'm not sure, anyhoo). I like the Temple Bar, it has a decent stage back there. |
