Any NYC-area folks attending this show? I'm going to go to the 9 (they're playing at 9 and 11) - they're probably my favorite new band of the last 2 or 3 years. If so, let's meet up for a drink or something.
Brian, do you know if the show is 18+? Although it is a school night, Friday is my last day before vacation. My parents might actually allow me to attend! Where is the Village Vanguard?

its an all ages show i'm pretty sure. from their "info" section on the website : All ages are welcome, including quiet children.

its $35, which is a bit pricey for my tastes, but jazz clubs are always like that. plus they are one of the elusive bands that i've missed for dumb reasons a few times, so i'm paying for it now.
