anyone else a fan? "if we can't trust the doctors" has easily been the most played album in my collection for the past few months. i'm so nuts about them that i'm actually considering a trip up to detroit just to hear the band live.

it turns out to be some Nurses Versus Doctors thing.

i think the album title has to do with the fact that an unusually large percentage of the band's family members (and at least one pet cat) randomly died over the past two years. the music is pretty wonky, sad themes.

rita! yes you should be listening to them, and comparing blanche to wilco is like comparing sex to dental work.
