Who used to listen to them? I used to and I still do, I think they were one of those bands that did a very good new work after the end of the Bauhaus. I think, in my opinion that they were even better than Peter Murphy solo! Their first album is a masterpiece!

I was really into Kundalini Express, I think it was. That's all I had by them, so don't know the rest. I love heavy guitar sounds, and there were plenty to go around on that album!

Love them Rockets. Back in high school (85-88)my friends and I used to crank up EXPRESS and dance around the coffee table...dressed like Miami Vice. Oh, those were the days...

The only song I know by them is So Alive, which is on the Rules Of Attraction soundtrack. It's pretty good.

It is a pretty good song, Tennis.
;-)
I sign a lot of my emails and letters "love and rockets" and half of the time I wonder if the person knows what I am talking about. It's a litmus test of sorts, I guess.

Oh, man that's sweeeeeeeet!!! I hope you're sporting the light pastels of '84-'86 and not the darker hues Don Johnson switched to in the last season when he hit his head in an explosion and thought he was his alter-ego, Sonny Burnett. Those duds sucked.
Anyhow...I wish i still had those clothes! I'd like to go as Crockett for Halloween, and my brother would be Tubbs (but we'd have to slather him in black make-up).

They rock. Gosh I wish I could remember the name of the album... was it no new tale to tell?? That was a great album!!
Peter Murphy solo rocked too... but in a different way!
Didn't Love and Rockets split up into another group?? Or am I totally on crack. |

Tones on Tail, that's the name Daisy, but they didn't split to form another group, two of them had this side project...I think! Correct me if I'm wrong. Tones on Tail have a great sound too.
