I'm no Billy Joel, OK? I didn't get it directly from a sweaty, hunky boy a fourth my age, OK? I got it just by being out and about.
Meanwhile, my kid is just fine, thank the lord. Healthy as a horse, while I try to chase after her, wheezing like the old fart I am.

KOK, how does it feel to be called a "gentleman"? I bet it's weird, huh?
But I digress. I woke up a week ago thinking I'd been run over by a truck. Then I chastized myself for drinking so much the night before. Then I remembered that I hadn't had more than a glass of wine. But I digress again. I've had it for just over a week. I do sound like a duck and it hurts like a mofo.
My doctor gave me some antibiotics but I have yet to feel better. These losenges don't do much either. Turns out the friggin' boys wrestling team brought it back here after an out-of-town meet and now it's making its way thru the town. Fuckin' athletes.

He asked you how long you had had it? Not how you were.
Whatever.

Dayanara (and I hope taking note also are some male forum members who seem obssessed with far younger women, as evidenced in the Pix of Beautiful Women thread) is never worth getting involved with sweet young things a fraction your age.
Sadly, I did not heed this and I am now coughing the price, so to speak.
But boy did it feel good to be in those nude half-Nelsons.

speaking of fractions, when i was 23 i dated a girl who was seventeen twenty-thirds my age, and you are right K, nothing good came of it (6 wasted years). i'm 32 now so i'm not going to date anyone who is less than nineteen thirty-seconds my age. for longer than a month that is. |

Shiner, you lost me there. I don't have a head for math. For instance, when I was 17 I started dating someone who was almost twice my age. It lasted 10 years and a lot of good came out of it (10 well-spent years). But, as I said, I am so bad at math. The only math I do understand is that it's skeezy for Billy Joel to marry someone who's more than half his age.

I ran off with a man who was more than double my age when I was 17 too. It lasted just under a year but I learnt so much from it. And I'm really really bad at maths but marrying someone younger than your own daughter is wrong.

Most definitely - it scares me the amount of times you post something and I'm here going "no way, same here!"

Why do you think it's wrong, he could have been a young father... Isn't that called prejudice? (I hope this is the correct word)
So this is for when you're feeling happy again And this is for when you're feeling sad And this is for when you feel... Something

sorry K, i just picked a couple prime numbers and was making some back-handed fun of your "dating someone a fraction of your age" comment, because really someone is always a fraction of your age! (i.e. me=32 girfriend=34. girfriend is thirty-four/thirty seconds my age.............blah,blah,blah.
easy math: me=32 girfriend=19 therefore girfriend is 19/32 my age. if i had said me=30 girlfriend=15 then i have to say half my age and there is no humor in that! |

Ya think that's bad? On a thread about how much each of us weighs, I gave my weight in stone, a measurement I know nothing about, and I think I gave my weight as some stone amount that ended up being, like, 200 pounds.
I know I caught flak on this on other threads (by Homers and Floopie) but I think my affair with a man twice my age was lovely whereas anybody porking Billy Joel is just skanky.
Surfer, Surfer. We will chat one day, don't you worry, sister.

Sorry starme. Hassle surfer. She'll do it...or I guess you could hang with cheesy.. *coughs*
Surfer'll do it.
kathryn, what about those nude pile drivers? I was gonna ask about the body slams and that thing where one of you jumps off the corner of the ring and just sort of lands on the other one. That one. Nude. How was that? |

I did not, repeat, did not engage in any physical contact with the boys of the local high school wrestling team, boys who are a third my age. (No Billy Joel, I!) We may have passed some germs back and forth with that bong, but I not participate in any pinning, nude or otherwise!

See, Homers, that's the point...I don't lie to myself.Unlike most people, Surfer and I are in constant, painful touch with our ongoing needs (Nic, you won' mind if I include you here?). Most people tell themselves that they are satisfied. But some of us are honest and open about the constancy and insatiability of our cravings. And I am not saying any of this in a come-hither, flirty fashion.

I am proud to be included there Kathryn. If you can't be honest with yourself what chance have you got of being honest with anyone else?

But Kathryn, you are kidding yourself if you think that your relationship with that guy was lovely, yet Mr Joel's is wrong.
You are also kidding yourself if you blame your urges to be with someone (else) on something that is not capable of claiming responsibility (ie flesh).
