On my Internet welcome screen a few days ago, there was a headline that I thought said, "Math use rising for kids." I thought, "Well, that's a good thing, right?" Then I looked again, and saw that the headline was actually, "METH use rising for kids," which, well, isn't so good.
I can also recall seeing a sign advertising chocolate silk pie, but I originally saw the word "silk" as "sex."
Anyone else ever misread stuff like that?

Sometimes I see "and" or "the" and have to do a double-take
because I can't figure out what I'm reading.

I had one yesterday. I was on Amazon.co.uk, looking for a film for Kitty, when I saw a list someone had made, entitled 'A bunch of crappy films (which are good)'. I decided to have a look, and half away down I saw the film 'Crap fishing with Liam Dale'. Oh how I laughed. How I laughed until I realised it was actually called 'Carp fishing with Liam Dale'. So then I laughed some more.
Crazy days.

i saw a casino billboard the other day that said "Come To Reno Quickly!" which i thought said "Janet Reno Lick Me"

| we have some korean? restaurants around here 2 that always make me laugh are "pho bch nga" and "pho khan hoa". i'm probably not reading them right but whatever. |

I was reading the 'First concert' thread just now and I thought I read floop's as 'Joan Jett & The Blackhearts'. Sadly it was just 'oan Jett & The Black hearts'.

There used to be a Chinese restaurant in my area called "Hunan Delight," and I thought it was "HUMAN Delight" when I was a kid. No, I didn't think they served human flesh there, just that it was delightful FOR humans, or something like that.
