I was watching and taping the Pixies Austin City Limits episode last night. I was watching it on PBS 11 from New Hampshire on Cambridge, Mass' cable. I was fighting to stay awake near the end, but because I was taping it, I kind of let myself doze off. Then during Gigantic -- STATIC --. There was nothing wrong with any of the other stations, just Channel 11 and the Pixies. Finally at the end of Gigantic it came back on. I was so pissed.
I know it will be shown again, but it was just really annoying last night.
Tough shit. Getting Pixies on any kind of tv over here is like finding your tickets for the Elvis gig on your welcome mat. PS.If you do get the full recording can i have it ? You can have the Elvis tickets cheap.
I was able to get the DVD on easytree, but the day it came on I was extremely pissed off, as PBS just happened to be the only channel on my tv not working. Of course, the next day it worked fine.
GODDAMMIT !!! ACL shut off during Gigantic !!!
