It looks as though it is pretty definite. I have never known of the strongly rumoured headliners for Reading/Leeds, not to actually headline.
I'd put money on it.

I doubt it, though they will be on UK T.V after the event. I could tape it for you, but you don't use the same kind of video tapes as us.

Opening for U2, red hot chilly con carne, sharing the bill with Radiotête and now with the Foolosers and Iron Maiden (no joke necessary for this band, it speaks for itself). Is it me, or is there something wrong ?

TO be fair, they will not be playing on the same day as those bands. Most of the best talent is on the smaller stages. The Pixies will be a rare and very welcome exception on the main stage.

I don't see any problem. Only their double bill with (or even worse: opening for) RHCP seems a bit odd to me. You can't blame a festival for having headliners who have nothing in common with each other. |
