saw them live
but had to go cause I wanted to go to the other stage
to see the pixies
I still regrett that

| Wilco is a band that came so highly recommended to me that I bought a ticket to see them without hearing one note of their music. They were okay, nothing to write home about. I don't feel like it was a waste of money or anything but they left me pretty indifferent. |

| I've heard a few folks say they aren't a great live band. I don't know, never seen them live. But I think they are a brilliant band none-the-less. I don't give a rat's behind about "tortured geniuses" - frankly I don't really care if tweedy (or Frank Black for that matter) are total pricks - I just listen to the songs. Personally, I think Being There is my favorite of their records, but I like Summerteeth and YHF a lot too. Haven't actually heard the most recent one at all. The collections they did with Billy Bragg were great too... |
