I've seen those, they're supposed to stimulate.
However, I spent a good twenty minutes pondering these in a department store once. I figure that the majority sold will not be proper pearls and actually be those plastic beads with irridescent coating. Thats going to wear off and I don't know how many of you wear plastic jewellery but when that happens it's really fucking scratchy and that is not a desirable trait in an underwear. Especially ones as unflexible as that.
Plus, they look stupid.
