| i read on the aussie Big Day Forum that when Tenacious D toured here recently, during the show Jack Black said he was going to ask Frank to play his dad in their upcoming movie haha |

I think that was just a joke, Jack has been going on and on about getting Meatloaf to play his dad.
So wow, I guess it looks like it's not just a rumor. I'm not quite sure how to feel about this acting thing. Has anyone actually seen the mutant movie he was in?
This guy is clearly the spitting image of Frank.
Interesting that the first link says he's in talks "for the role OF the Zodiac killer," while the second one says "his role IN Zodiac Killer."

I know. Doesn't Frank need our approval for this kind of thing?
I can see floop jockeying for work on this movie. Probably wishing he had a clause in his current contract to the effect that he can split for an opportunity to work with Frank, kinda like a football coach with enough pull to retain the right to interview with his alma mater. |

That's amazing! I think Frank's kid looks like him a little, but then I think that to a certain extent all babies look like Frank. |

I think the casting might be perfect, and the rumor has some credibility:
The Zodiac killer, some believe, was a heavy set guy in his mid-30s.
Fincher, who's directing, also used "Where Is My Mind" for the trailer of "Fight Club".
And Frank, being a fan of unexplained mysteries, would likely know a bit about the Zodiac, one of most infamous serial killers of our time who may still be at large. |

Frank would fit perfect for the role. The lead suspect on the case for this was/still is Arthur Leigh Allen. They both have a similar build.

Yeah. He was busy taking the training wheels off his bike.
I saw some recent news regarding this movie. They've recently signed on Jake Gyllenhaal and Robert Downey Jr. and another guy I'm not too terribly familiar with. None of them are playing the Zodiac Killer though. I'd still like to see some hardcore proof that Frank is doing the movie. The fact that David Fincher was at his birthday party helps lend to that theory though. |
