I thought that it would be nice if we all could post something about our days, something that we thought it was funny, curious, at the work, on the way home or at home with our family... As it's still morning here, nothing special happened yet, but later I'll see something...

This morning I finally took up a generous friend of mine who is a coach and she spent an hour running me through some intervals in a swimming pool and I know this is boring to most people but it was pretty great. This and making sure I saw the Pixies are the only times since my baby was born when I have done something just for me, just for fun. This was the highlight of my month.

Happy for you Kathryn! In fact my day was nothing but work, carrying some very heavy boxes, pretending to be an electrician and so on... boring day!

Realising that those hippy homeopathic anti-jetlag pills have actually worked.
Convincing my co-workers that they haven't so that I could have a lazy day today. |

Cooking myself (and just me!) pork chops with a sauce made from red onion, red wine and Canadian maple syrup (I kid you not, its an actual recipe).
Also roast potatoes.

Listening to Honeycomb for the first time. I've listened to it before, but it feels like this is the first time that I'm giving it the attention that it deserves. I was inspired by the Sing For Joy thread in the FB Chat.

Washing my hair with an new shampoo (Garnier Fructis, after years of Petrole Hahn).
My days have been kind of shitty for a week now, 16 hours at work or more (sometimes much more).
Hopefully the end of the week will be better.

Mr. Monsieur, it might interest you to know that Garnier Fructis is a big deal here in America. Sarah Jessica Parker of Sex in the City fame is the spokeswoman and it's considered high-end, coveted stuff.

The water main burst outside our house last night. No water for us until we get home.
Not cool, but a highlight nonetheless.

Got an ardent email from a mysterious admirer, a lady named Julie (?) who seems to know me quite well. The funniest thing is, I first thought it was a spam. |

Watching that man pick his nose infront of my office.
Also...
Watching this lady laugh to herself(or at herself) on the bus today. Well not really to herself...but to some imaginary guy sitting in front of her. It made the bus ride much more pleasant... for everyone. No one could help smiling.
