... set up my Outlook Express to read my Hotmail messages? I'm pretty sure it can be done, but I can't remember how to save my life.
Again, in a public-spirited move - post your 'how do I?' questions here, maybe someone'll be able to help.

Just checked the hotmail help topics,
"To protect our users from the increasing amount of unsolicited junk e-mail or spam sent from MSN HotmailSympatico Mail accounts through Outlook and Outlook Express, we have reluctantly had to restrict the new use of Outlook and Outlook Express to subscribers."
So Unless you are a subscriber, it can't be done any more |

| I just tried to do that yesterday too, Cheese. I'm not paying a yearly subscription just so that I don't have to open a browser, though. |

Hello there Cheeseman1000. Assuming you already have an existing hotmail account, here's a nice little "how to"...

I've picked mine up in Outlook Express for the last year or two, but you're right about having to pay for it soonish.
PS. you need Outlook Express 6. |

Ah, OK, my Outlook Express is from Office 2000. Ach, I can take it.
