Yeah, her piano playing aside, her musical interests are questionable at best. Any time you ask someone and they say, "Pretty much anything", you just don't dare follow up. It can't be good. To clarify, I work with her on weekday lunches. Or used to.

ouch, personally I have to say a lack of musical definition (or terrible music taste) is a terrible turn off in my world. Is that bad?

No, I'm the same way. I am willing to overlook it if the person is intelligent and open-minded, though, because then I figure I can educate.

It's a good point, ex boyfriend education was my main introduction to the pixies, I already had a good grounding though.
Gosh, I just had a little think about that and I don't even think I have any friends with questionable music taste, in the minimum they really like at least one of my top ten bands and my closest friends are practically musically identical...
I'm an unintentional music snob!

Oh, it's intentional. I know. I have friends with generally bad music taste, but my close friends at least have all come to appreciate the brilliance of FB (if not to the same extent as me), and I've got my one radio lovin' friend slowly moving away. Though it took me telling him about bands like Franz and then them appearing on Much a year later to make him realize he should actually check out some of the stuff I'm talking about. Oh well.

Actually, it can be heartbreaking too, I posted my ex a parcel a couple of weeks back, some books and cd's I'd copied for him, and he called me after he'd listened to all the cd's and was raving about the ONE cd which was my new favourite (MARK LANEGAN BAND - BUBBLEGUM [not that I'm hinting to everyone]) damn him for his excellent taste.
Sulk.
I remember making a mix tape for the first guy I ever kissed and he hated it. Dumped. You're so right, it's totally intentional.

This is such a weird thing for me.
The girl I love likes this horrible thing called "flamenco chillout", but I love her anyway.
If you're waiting for a girl who loves FB, you're restricting your possibilities to a 1% (perhaps less) of females.
Oh!!! And Dean. Probably my opinion isn't trustable because I'm a male, but I'ld had taken her words as a clear sign. My two cents.

My ex used to really like the Pixies. They are one of the few things that survived our break up. I hate most things she used to love now. Just goes to show exactly HOW great the Pixies are.

Here I am!!! Here I am!!!
Yeah, I was using the computers at the college to do all my online activities so now that it's break, I'm not online often.
I don't think I'm going to bother with school anymore. It just hasn't been working out for me the last year and a half or so. I just can't motivate myself to get on task.
I'm just gonna work crappy jobs for a little while. Once I get sick of all the stupidity involved in doing that, I will long for school and will be hungry for knowledge and gladly return. After a few semesters back in school, I will grow tired of that and look to the days of just working and sleeping as the glory days and return to that... and on and on. It's a vicious cycle.
Thanks for the thread, yah'll. Good to be missed. I'm at my most popular when I'm not around.
I'll be around here and there.

Come on, let's prove him wrong. Let's make him more popular now that he is back.
Why the hell has this taken me so long to type. My keyboard is sticky.
