Bad as in good, or bad as in bad? I'm not familiar with their music, but I've heard of them. I guess I'll go listen. Todd was also in Shipping News, so it must be purty good.

Nothing against this guy, but I wish they could have at least brought in Ethan, just for the sake of it.

Ah, I just noticed your post on the Pajo board. Thanks for the info.

Now I understand how Slint is relevant here on FB.net .
Now i know what Kim Deal meant on that old live Breeders recording when she said "The drummer is from Kentucky."

This whole time I've been saying "who the hell is she talking about?"

How did I miss out on Slint?
Oh, thats right - in 1988 I was in Guns-n-Roses and Metallica land.

I know its about 15 years too late, but I'm going to go listen anyway.

Yeah dude, where ya been? ;)
I had a Gun's n Roses phase in 88 too, but luckily Louisville had a great all-ages live music scene, so I could be blissfully into both with no real effort on my part.

This Glasspack is some good stuff! Nice ol' dirty rock. Apparently this Todd Cook is the same as the one from Crain, another great band. If you want to hear Glasspack, this is a great live show from the local radio station:
Dial-up
Broadband

check the July 9 show. Nice. And there's some Crain/Evergreen Louisville feel scattered (sparsely) in there too.
