We had one helluva snow/wind storm yesterday.
It went from a nice warm day to trees snapping in half in less than a minute, no joke.
But check out how this poor bloke died;

"the unnamed victim was using a parachute to tow him across the lake on a snowboard...It came through at 100 kmh. He was out there doing his thing when this thing came through..."I don't know what speed he actually struck at, but witnesses said he struck at significant speed. (Well I guess!)The man slammed into an abandoned church in Alberta Beach suffering severe blunt trauma to his entire body."
I hear he put a hole in the wall!

That's sad... We've been getting a lot of wind down here too. Wonder what's causing it.

It's not really fair to say this guy died of his own stupidity. He was kite boarding which is perfectly fun and usually safe, except that all of a sudden the wind velocity picked up from just a breezy day to 100 km/h winds out of nowhere. Now, if he went out and did this because the wind was already 100 km/h, then I'd agree with you.

Don't know as I was still flying back from NYC. Our plane was almost delayed though from Saskatoon, so maybe...
