| Me and a buddy of mine are looking for both nights on CD...Zadillo (or deadlydoctor), can you give me a link to where they are taking orders online?? That would be much appreciated |

I hate to ask, but can you sell me on it? I mean, what were the differences between the 1st and 2nd night? I like owning the 12/7 show since it's a reminder of being there, but can you give me a better idea of what would make it worth it for me to also own the 2nd night? I.e. how much is different, what things were better, etc.?
It's just, for another $30, I don't really want a disc that is mostly the same stuff I'll have on the 12/7 disc.

well, I noticed that on the site they have a setlist for each respective show. I guess the 1st thing would be for you to look at the order of the songs/variations for the 2nd night. the fact that they played Ed Is Dead, River Euphrates, and I Bleed (plus the dynamite encore) pleased me very much indeed
other than that, I was in the front row so this was obviously a special enhancement to my overall perception of the show. i'll try to be as objective as possible, and take into account that the live CD will capture the sound and not the visual stimuli, obviously.
-Frank held back on his screams a little the 1st night. not so the second.
-the encore on 12/8 was amazing (not to mention four songs instead of two!)...plus I felt the overall set was more solid the 2nd night. soundwise, everything sounded great to me both nights, but i definitely feel like Dave's playing was more solid on the 2nd night
-i feel like the whole band played their asses off a little more on 12/8...they just seemed more into it and more enthusiastic. I also feel that the heightened energy, though not visible, will still be audible in the overall sound of the live CD.
I don't know if this helps or what, but there ya go... |
