Yeah, his heartbeat and I'm sure much, much more.

Ok, I've got a dedication for your special someone...

"Sleep"

I can't find the lyrics, but they sound OK, and the music is very much a lullabye...Sleep sweet one, sleep.

Manitoba

I remember first hearing this song when I saw Frank live in November 2002, and I thought it was really cool. The chorus stuck in my head. Anyway, I recently put it on a mix CD I'm making.

for all you non-FB/Pixie fans out there, this ones for you...

...Fu Manchu. You know it?

Coffee to the Can, i'm loving it because of the guitar riff with Frank's "meows"
or are they more "grrrrs"?
Oh, and the words occidentally tic-tac. Reasons enough.
Plus this song brought someone crazy into my life. And i mean Ke-razy!

Hey fbc, I think you're right the second time, they're more 'grrrrr's, one of those sounds you make whenever you wake-up and stretch.

Also, It's very similar to his intro vocals "ahhh, that's nice" to "Ten Percenter".

[anyway, you're avoiding the question about the crazy person]

Well, I WANT to play guitar. I just don't have the patience or perseverance to stick with it. Maybe I'll take lessons, if I ever get the money.

Vovat, the only lesson you need to learn is how NOT to play the instrument. You've already got a head start on that one. So you know more than you think.

No, the first rule of rock.

"Where Is My Mind" live with the Catholics
followed by "Bullet". Same concert: April, 4th 2003 in Regina

Cool versions of both!

"Gouge Away" now. With a nice long organ intro. Really cool!!

"Lone Child"

thicker than Selkie Bride, however, not as soft and with a little more dark meat to it...

"Sing for Joy"

Last of the Honey for me tonight...one of my favorite all-time Frank songs. Has a nice Freddy Fender / Texas sound to it..and you gotta love the lyrics, dripping with metaphors and moods, "...as the air-conditioner hummed..." (oh yeah, and fuck the damn sugar...)
