Yep, Mrs. Kathryn, OldMan is often reminded that OldMan is the only sure thing. Self-reliance is a good thing.

I must admit I don't own one album or song by Mr Springsteen. Is this wrong? Am I missing out?
Not tonight though. Tonight I'm playin' me ALL MY GHOSTS
You need that now.
The first Catholics song I ever did hear. |

Hey Guitar Man, No, it's not wrong, and, yes, you're missing out...but, hey, there are infinite pleasures to enjoy and only a finite time to enjoy them.
I'm listening to "All My Ghosts"
lovin it, among other reasons, because these lyrics remind me of the "pictures of beautiful women" thread
"Then I stopped in at a porno store
And I found among the pictures there A vision that was very fair Just a moment from yesteryear All I could do was stare"

"When Will Happiness Find Me Again?"
lovin it cause it fits the current situation here at fb.net!
"...She picked up the phone The bombs were deployed The people they groaned The world was destroyed..."
"...I believe in the fates I thought they were great Till that girl left my poor heart in ruins When will happiness find me again?..."

I was listening to True Blue, one of my favorites, but now I am listening to the Shrimp Song actually because I am getting ready to take a trip to 'Ol Louisian to visit my family. That song is a sad one, but oh how pretty.
I've heard a lot of noise, so I'm going to the stereo store, to get a white noise maker and turn it up to ten. |

You "The Man, Jr.", OmniStupid ThreadMaster!!!
"Six-Sixty-Six"
lovin it cause it's hauntingly familiar...
"With the face of an angel and the heart of a beast His intentions were six-sixty-six
He walked up to the temple With gold in his hands And he bought off the priests And propositioned the lamb [edit: gotta be lamb and not land] And the world was his harlot And laid in the sand While the band played six-sixty-six
We served at his table And slept on the floor But he starved us and beat us And nailed us to the door Well, I'm ready to die I can't take any more And I'm sick of his lies and his tricks
He told us he loved us But that was a lie There was blood in his pockets And death in his eyes Well, my number is up And I'm willing to die"
What has been done to us is unspeakable...but, I joined the noisy cult of six-sixty-six when I somehow agreed to the Registration Policy |
