Now I do as I please and lie through my teeth. Someone might get hurt but it won't be me. I should probably feel cheap but I just feel free and a little bit empty. No it isn't so hard to get close to me. There will be no arguments. We will always agree. And I will try and be kind when I ask you to leave. We will both take it easy. But if you stay too long inside my memory, I will trap you in a song tied to a melody and I will keep you there so you can't bother me. |

It was just there in my head. The name, and the theory.
Just wanted to bring back a little bit of FB to this forum, pump life into old threads.
To make sure the FB general chat keeps up pace with the Off Topic! general chat.
I could have gone under my real name, which at times I wish I could.
But this way when I get ignored and my posts skipped over because I'm not part of the clique, I won't be too offended and hurt (just a little)
so far it's been fun. |

Eh, I don't consider myself part of any clique, and people apparently still pay attention to my posts. The trick is to post a lot, so that the odds of something you wrote being replied to increase. Looks like you've been doing a good job so far.

I didn't mean clique in a bad way. There seems so many of you who have been around since nearly day one, and it's fun to watch you all banter and bounce off one another.
I bet you've seen so many folks post then disappear that it's hard to know whose genuine or worth replying to. I've seen first time posters just wanting random bits of info of the man or the Pixies which with a little research and googlin' could find the themselves.
I see this forum as an ode to my favourite songwriter, so it's nice to have a chat now and again with the likes of you who have been round for a while. It's good to feel apart of what you all have here. And I do. Just want the masses and the detrustees to know I ain't going nowhere and my opinions and words are from the heart and sometimes my brain.
Heck! This is the only forum I post on.
