I didn't buy this...

...and it's not a C.D, but today I downloaded 50 Foot Wave 'Free Music' from www.throwingmusic.com
It's the only 50 Foot Wave stuff I've heard but seems pretty good.

I always thought Crystal was a great single.

Thanks, try Ebay. That's where I got mine from. I think Amazon also sell them.

Well, I might be a little old-fashioned, but I don't like to buy records via Internet. I love going to the records stores and unearth some old (or new) talisman to feed my stereo.

WORD

Last january I bought a b-sides compilation by G500 (I think it's called Uncollected or something) (2€50 on sale). My first approach of their music and it sounded quite good.

I have a problem with X. They have great songs, great singers... but what the fuck were they thinking by letting Manzarek play on their record? Los Angeles is a great album that's completely ruined by this ugly organ. I'd love to love X but I just can't stand Ray fucking Manzarek. Which album doesn't he play on?

I think he only plays on Los Angles but I might be wrong. Even though it is a strange pairing I really like his organ playing on Nausea and The Unheard Music. I know he dosn't play on More Fun and Wild Gift though I think he produced them.

Good, no more, nos less. Really sounds like a mix between The Clash and Mick's previous band, Big Audio Dynamite.

Btw, that's not a cover, just a pic I found on the web. Apparently the band has no plans for a commercial release.

Big Audio Dynamite. Talk about a band whose music lived up to its acronym.

Their first album sounds terribly 80s, but "Tighten Up Vol. 88", "Megatop Phoenix" and "The Globe" are great. I say.
