Blackalicious - Blazing Arrow, which I'm loving very much Beastie Boys - To The Five Boroughs, which frankly blows. they spent six years on that? single-syllabled rhymes with a scheme that goes like 1111, 2222, 3333, 1111. Ugh. At least Hello Nasty had plenty of bossanova.

Moving from the clown to the jester will mean moving from similar to same, from alike to identical, from comparable to analogous. Though applied differently, the colours used on one can be used on another, and a couple of changes of costume will rapidly transform the jester into a clown and the clown into a jester. Strictly speaking, they almost duplicate each other as regards clothes and function, the only difference between them, from a social point of view, is that clowns do not usually visit the palaces of kings. |

I really like the song "Headache" (not to be confused with the Frank song of the same title). My girlfriend put it on a mix tape for me, before she was my girlfriend.

Oh God, My amp has died after ten years of good service. Whats the point of buying cd's now? The service man will give me a call. Anyone else ever had too suffer through such a gut wrenching moment? I mean, what's the point of owning music with out a good means of reproduction?

I'm still in my "replacing vinyl/all things retro/must be getting old" phase. Bought the following last week:
Blondie - Parallel Lines
Stranglers - No More Heroes
Rush - Moving Pictures
Siouxsie & The Banshees - Juju
Megadeth - Peace Sells...but who's buying?
Saying that I'm placing an order with Amazon today to get the new Interpol record and also the debut single from The Bravery.

Let's see... latest purchases were
Frank Black Francis
Bowie - Ziggy Stardust, Low, Heroes (while I'm mentioning Bowie - Rita, did you manage to download the "Live at 50" DVD? It's really neat! I just watched Frank's 2 songs again last night. He was doing better than I remembered.)
Autechre - Incunabula
The Paper Chase - God Bless Your Black Heart
David Thomas and Two Pale Boys - Surf's Up!
Vic Chesnutt - Little (New West reissue)
Don't think I'm forgetting anything. Oh yes, this morning I ordered the first Pinback album (I'm listening to the new one constantly these days, it's really great) and Prokofiev sonatas by S. Richter.
"Just kill the one with the sword first." "Ah," Reagan says, raising his waxed and penciled eyebrows, and cocking his pompadour in Shaftoe's direction. "Smarrrt--you target them because they're the officers, right?" "No, fuckhead!" Shaftoe yells. "You kill 'em because they've got fucking swords! You ever had anyone running at you waving a fucking sword?" |

You didn´t forget how I wanted that video, and the answer is no, I could´t do it...I only have the 2 videos that Frank sings with Bowie, and those two get very well together! What more could we want, they are the best!
