Pig: no, but i had a parrot once
Rat: that made absolutely no sense
Pig: well, it made sense to me until i learned he couldn't talk
Rat: i wish you couldn't talk
Pig: you would've liked my parrot

Why thank you - it's one of my favourites - however it sounds way cooler than the reality of it - rather threadbare, very faded, various holes, neck is ripped but I still love it.

I'd be safe and warm if I was in L.A

Surfer, that only makes it cooler! Your description raises my
sartorial envy.

On this unseasonably warm day in Feb: faded jeans (to an almost
acid-washed look that borders mall-ish, which concerns me...I might
be tossing them out soon) and a black long sleeved T. Ho hum. But
practical.

OK, Shiner...

Where were you wearing it?

Today I'm wearing an ironed shirt (!!!!), jeans (customised with conchas or sheriff badges as the uninitiated insist on calling them), black high heel boots, my Day of the Dead necklace, black eyeliner, lip venom gloss (love that burn), big blister pearl ring and my politically incorrect Texas belt.

Wide leg charcoal wool trousers, fishnet stockings, my shiney oxblood patent maryjanes, long sleeve black t, tusk pendant, dark red lipstick.

Homer are you telling us that you've become a secret agent (now not so secret agent) and that is why you gave up your desk job?

I'm wearing basically the same thing as yesterday, except the shirt is different, I have a sweater over it, and I left my ID in the car. (I also changed my socks and underwear, but the new ones are pretty similar to the old ones.)

blood red linen trousers that are two sizes too big and have a terrible hem at the bottom because I had to cut four inches off (midget) and my sewing went awry but they're really wide legged and still too long so it's not all that noticable (i hope) brown trainers, black cotton v neck off the shouder jumper, black and white silk paisley scarf, hair in pig-tails, charcoal glittery eyeshadow, heavy on the kohl and my black plastic specs.

Surfer, I heart your shoes!!

Kittie, heavy on the kohl, you say? Speaking my language!

Um...lessee...same old same old. Black long sleeved T, black capris, black
nail polish (toes only), moisturizer, heavy on the kohl.

No, I don't know the Dewey Decimal System by heart, but I know parts of it fairly well. I work at two different libraries, and one of them actually uses Library of Congress classification.

I have a degree in library science, but I don't know that I would identify myself as a "library scientist."

Now I see Kathryn in my mirror, wearing a frown.

do all library employees have the degree? i never asked one, it always seems strange to talk to a stranger in the library, even if it's the librarian, hey! what's the male form of librarian, or is it librarienne and librarian? maybe librario?

ps i'm wearing a canucks shirt and my undies, getting ready for bed...

Not all library employees have degrees. I'm essentially underemployed, but I'm having trouble finding anything full-time.

I'm currently wearing my pajama top, but I should be changing it fairly soon. I'm going to finish reading the forum first, though.
