Can´t beleive you really loved Roxette! You should never say that to anyone, that´s much more cheesy than mine!

And what about Manic Street Preachers - Ocean spray. I like that!

Your level of cheeseness is pathetic, Rita. You can't compare with me.

After Roxette followed R.E.M. and Dire Straits. I had a fine musical taste for a 13yo kid. I still like them.

I'll say Clap for the Wolfman by the Guess Who. Cheese factor 9, still has something cool though.

quote:
OK, here I go: Time after Time (Really, I'm not going to put a smiley here)

If you want to know what a good song this is, find Tuck & Patti's version on Tears of Joy. There's also an old Jazz standard called Time After Time, but Cindy Lauper's song is getting recorded often.

I said pathetic because your songs aren't cheesy enough. Maybe Kathryn is right and you have a superior musical taste.

PS: I need to change my signature.

I thought you were mad with what I said, I was just joking! But certainly I don´t have that superior musical taste, I just can´t remember much...

Today is a good day to change signatures, it´s the end of the month, the clocks changed too...and I´m getting late again!

The Cars - I'm Not the One

So corny.

Honorable mention goes to William Shatner's version of Common People.

Penguins can be bitches too.

I'm a man - Well I'm a virgin
I'm a man - I'm a blue movie
I'm a man - I'm a bitch
I'm a man - I'm a geisha

How can anyone forget. But I never really dug it, so I can't count it among the many cheeseball songs I really ought to stay closeted about. Why, did that Berlin song make Carolynanna
feel the magic?

William Shatener's Mr. Tambourine Man too. Hey. Mr. Tambourineman. Play. That song. For me. I'm not. Sleepy. And...you know the drill.

I was going to say that. I have those two songs stucked in my brain. Two more for the record (I'm gonna win that, nobody can beat me in a cheesy song contest):

Michel Polnareff - La poupée qui fait non (Don't know if it's enough cheesy)
SNTR - Kiss me (Eat that!)

PS: Kathryn, I'm taking your idea for a new sig.

Oh yeah, "Cat's in the Cradle" by Harry Chopin.

To this day I still like "Billy Jean," "Beat It," and "Thriller" by Michael Jackson.

The Vangelis score to the film "Blade Runner." Yeah, I feel like a real cool cat driving down the street listening to that. (Vangelis did do the horribly cheesy "Chariots of Fire.")

That's about it for now, although I'm sure I'll think of more later.

Maaaaan.

NONE of that stuff is cheesey!

Seems to me you just have great taste in music.

Which is exactly why I win, surely? I love that tune, and I can groove to a bit of Daniel as well.

did you really just say that.

You'll never be the same cheese-o in my eyes now, now you're a mere soiled and slightly grubby mini-babybel stuck to the bottom of the white stiletto of a particularily scabby sharon, when once you were a mighty brie, as metaphors go, this'll do.

"Shake Your Booty" - remember when I was about 4 or 5 sitting at the dining room table with snow boots on and swinging my feet back and forth singing this song.

"Sweet Home Alabama" - I seat-danced to it at a gas station in Indiana last night. SpudBoy heard it and didn't want to get back in the car.
