I got Floop's this morning, haven't had a chance to listen to it yet though.
Looks like some good stuff - I know of most of the bands but maybe haven't heard them, so its all cool.

Mine aren't going out till the 22nd because that's when my cd burner will be rescued from being on the fritz/knackered/quebrado/rota, so please excuse the delay.

Moving from the clown to the jester will mean moving from similar to same, from alike to identical, from comparable to analogous. Though applied differently, the colours used on one can be used on another, and a couple of changes of costume will rapidly transform the jester into a clown and the clown into a jester. Strictly speaking, they almost duplicate each other as regards clothes and function, the only difference between them, from a social point of view, is that clowns do not usually visit the palaces of kings.

excused owen

as a note to all, a few tracks on my comp may not be suitable for "office play." not that they are excessively vulgar, but there is one that is quite explicit in its lyrics and may, in fact, freak out some co-workers. that being said, they're in the mail! sorry for the bad scissormanship on the tracklisting/cover.

Its good - I think they'll like it and they usually hate what I play!
That said, as long as there's no Kraftwerk I think they'll be relieved.

Mwahaha, the prescience comes into play.

Screw 'em, I'll play it anyway. You want to know how much they complained at the Pixies?
And still it gets played - I have the power.

I'd just like to say i don't have an office and I live in the secondloudest city of the secondloudest country in the world save India if you think you can compete with the surroundsound symphony of dogs barking, domestic spats, teevees, drugdeals going wrong and incar stereosystems that is Barcelona, knock yourselves out.

It's sophisticated without trying too hard.

Floop - yours has arrived and I love it.

Now I understand what you mean Surfer...I was thinking that you didn´t liked my mix, and I was sad with that! But "sophisticated", I´m glad to hear, I really didn´t tryed hard, I just made a mix with my everyday music.

Gots yours Rita, thank you. I really like the David Byrne one, loooove the Elefant song and the first Liars song. Too, you can never have enough Fine Young Cannibals.

Hey - I thought no reviews till the end? Or can we? I'm all for ignoring the rules.

Scuse I didn´t read any of the rules. Let my remarks be stricken from the record. I have no opinion whatsoever about David Byrne, Elefant, The Liars and certainly not about any Fine Young Cannibals.
