I know what it is, and I´m glad that you both choose that band, I didn´t listen to them for so long...

Got surfers and whores the other day.
My god I love yours nicole, its amazing
Xavier - the tracklisting scared me a little at first, but it has really grown on me!
I have - mikes, surfers, ritas, floops, cheesemans, whores and broken face thus far.

I like the way that sentence stands out of context.

damn all of you (non-rita, floop and cheese) for being slow, or living in slow countries - i'm going away for a week next tuesday and still haven't received many mixes at all!

Be nice with me. Only your fucking heavy letter costed me around 5 Euros, so shut up!
PS: Fortunately the guy at the post office made a mistake when he gave me the change May I have to post it in the sin thread?

The worst thing on this game is that I cannot see your faces when you are reading my tracklist. My first mix had even more creepy bands. Brian will tell ya!

Which one - I sent you both didn't I?
Xavier - I too am terrified by your tracklisting. It arrived today - I'm going to have to be brave though and trust you on this one.

No,no,no you're saying too much about it, girls. It's a moderated mix. No Cyndi Lauper, No Bonnie Tyler, No Virjinia Glück... Only one or two cheesy moments. It's not that scary!

Nicole, got yours on the way out the door this morning, like the look of it very much. I didn't know there was a 'no two tracks from one artist' rule, but the hell with it anyway cause I've got a couple couples on mine, well at least I will when El Repairman sees fit to grace me with the rest of my computer.

Moving from the clown to the jester will mean moving from similar to same, from alike to identical, from comparable to analogous. Though applied differently, the colours used on one can be used on another, and a couple of changes of costume will rapidly transform the jester into a clown and the clown into a jester. Strictly speaking, they almost duplicate each other as regards clothes and function, the only difference between them, from a social point of view, is that clowns do not usually visit the palaces of kings. |

Glad you like the look of it - hope you love the sound of it.

there is no more than two tacks by same artists rule....I cant remember if ive done that or not, but im damn sure it was never a rule.
Nicole - both, I love them both! digging the first one at the moment particularly
Xavier....its still scary....
Mine is coming soon! So so so sorry, I really suck. I got all wrapped up in uni stuff and everything, and i didnt have enough money to send them all out at once, and i wanted to send them at once, to ensure i didnt end up forgetting some one, and, oih, its been a busy time. this weekend, I promise!!!
But man, you guys are gonna be blown away with my art work. Not one to boast, but its amazing!

Nicole, had a listen to yours. My favourites off the first one were 6 (was a big fan of his first band when they were around, hadn’t heard anything of his since; beats the pants off the old stuff hey), 7, 10 made me laugh out loud, eleven I love, and the QOTSA is pretty infectious. Of the second one, I’ll always listen to anything by the first artist, the mainstream song is terrific and you’ve got the descending bassline thing going on with nos. 7, 9 and 10, nice work. There’s also lots of fun to be had w/ guitarplaying there. Oh and Valentino, the Spanish kid next to me in the netcaf who insisted I give him a CD to listen to, gives Sabrosa his seal of approval.

I'm off to see him on Sunday night - cannot wait - he's got Nick back playing guitar with him and have it on good authority that both are on top form at the moment. Do yourself a favour and go buy Bubblegum.
So glad you picked up on Mainstream - last minute addition and I had to sacrifice a much loved trashy Danzig track for it. I think it's one of the most delicious pieces of music I've heard in a while. It's one of those eyes closed (joint in hand for me) and just loose yourself in it tracks.
I love that you enjoyed them both. Looking forward to yours getting here.

Floop, I´ve been listening to your CD today, again, with more attention, and it´s very, very good, and thanks for the music in portuguese...do you know that nº12 is in portuguese?

yeah, i knew track 12 is Portuguese. i've got a decent amount of Brazilian music from here and there. . tropicalia stuff.
Os Mutantes are my absolute fave though.
i can't wait till the LIFE AQUATIC soundtrack is released, with all those Bowie songs in Portuguese

That´s much better, because the first one is like going through my past, and I think it wasn´t much appreciated...maybe because of age difference, and the second is much more about the present (without the two final tracks)

I've emailed you the tracklisting. Does everyone have my mix yet? And where are all the others? I'm still waiting on Bumbles, Gypsy's, Obfuscate's, Newo's and Coldheart's.

Flopo week in my car. Brilliant record!!! As the man himself, the perfect combination between seriousness and sillyness. Check out the row 16-20 to get an example.
