Rita: I'm glad you liked it. I designed the artwork in 10 minutes, so it could have been more elaborated, but I liked it. Yours is better, just my opinion. My fave tracks of your compilation: 1,5,9,18,19. I owe you a private mail.

Tre: Surprise, surprise!!! Enjoy it!

PS: I only have Rita's CD and cheese's tape. Come on postman, you know I love you!

Let me see... Number 10... Right! Damn it!

The language is catalan, by the way. Lyrics tell a real story happened some years ago in Spain. It's about the murder of a student by the fascist spanish goverment. When my mother was a young girl, Maria del Mar Bonet sang that song with Franco still alive! In that time, you can't even speak catalan! My uncle was hit by a Guardia Civil to speak in catalan to his little brother (my father, BTW) in public. I don't need to tell you that almost every single concert finished with police charging against the crowd. It's a pity that you can't understand the lyrics, but I chose it anyway because it's part of my life. I'm sure Owen will appreciate it.

And, that CL song is great, isn't it? My fave Beatles song.

What a story Xavier, I noticed that it was catalan, and I canīt understand anything, but it still looks a lot like portuguese (the accent).
And the last one made me laugh a lot, because I was listening and enjoying very much...untill I heard that name...you caught me on this!
And Iīm very glad with your choice on my CD, I though none of you would like the last one, but I put it anyway...that music "drives me crazy"!

"Sisters of avalon", the fourth(?) CL record.

hey Xavi, really like your disc. Is Molotov the group that had No Me Llamas Gringo last year?

--

Moving from the clown to the jester will mean moving from similar to same, from alike to identical, from comparable to analogous. Though applied differently, the colours used on one can be used on another, and a couple of changes of costume will rapidly transform the jester into a clown and the clown into a jester. Strictly speaking, they almost duplicate each other as regards clothes and function, the only difference between them, from a social point of view, is that clowns do not usually visit the palaces of kings.

No me llames Gringo, llamame Lola...

Don't know. I only have "Donde jugarán las niņas". It was a huge (and weird) success in Spain. You could hear "Puto" in almost every night club.

cheeseman, you should totally change your username to "laughman" because your package to me made me literally laugh out loud in front of my apartment and appear crazy to my neighbors. i'm heading to my parents' place for a few days for the thanksgiving holiday, and i plan on listening to your mix on one of their ancient cassette players! (side note, do you think of it as cheese-man, or cheese-min when you pronounce it in your mind?)

still waiting on everyone but cheese, rita and floop

Superhero rather than Jewish surname...
Which apparently people don't get first time round. Ask Benji or Mel or Bumble...

And what are you saying? My package is laughable?

I think that it wasnīt only with you Brian, Cheeseman package was really funny, I think it was recicled, it still had the other name and address inside...But I must admit that your self-portrait was amazing!
And the best Art work on the cover is Xavierīs, but Iīll wait for the others, maybe weīll have some more surprises!

OK, I just remembered who I addressed Brian's package to. I thought you were making some sort of innuendo about my package...

But yeah, most of the jiffy bags were recycled. I figured you lot weren't worth spending too much on...
I don't remember doing a self portrait though...

I thought I'd throw something in there for the ladies this time Rita and keep it a bit topical at the same time.

I hope you enjoy the mix - the first 2 songs are quite different from the rest.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but, rather to skid in sideways, thoroughly used, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming "Fuck, what a trip!"
