is this a controversial question? i have an autographed record from back in the day and would really like to offer it for a reasonable price (read: reasonable) Having done my fair share of paying for collectibles, I understand the value of reasonable as well.

not a controversial question at all! Just a joke from my part
I don't know. I don't think Pixies autographs are hard to find. Is it a CD or vinyl? And who signed it? I have a bunch of FB signed records, but if the other guys signed yours it might be more valuable.
seems that many actors and famous people don't sign anything these days pretty much because they get pissed when they see their autographs on ebay. IMO an autographed record has a sense only if it you got the autograph because it acquires that sentimental value. i don't think that it worths more money than a simple record for someone else. said that people seem to appreciate autographs tho' the pixies records don't hit exagerated prices. 30-40 $us is pretty reasonable if the record is intact (no scratches etc)
