| If you cannot stand the remixes on Disc 2, I offer this advice, check out 'David Thomas and The Two Pale Boys' ...which although took a few listens to get into, I have come to love. It has also affected my appreciation for Disc 2 of FrankBlackFrancis. |

My little joke on FBF. geddit ?
I saw David Thomas in The Spitz club in London a coupla years ago with 2 Pale boys. They were incredible, still one of my favourite gigs of all time (I've got no idea about their recorded output)... but when David Thomas is on the stage he is such a commanding presence that I swear I couldn't pick the two pale boys out of a line-up |

yeah, but I have 19 frank black recordings, and 15 pixies, not to mention 3 breeders, 2 kelley deal 6k, 2 martinis, and an amps. We're looking at two rows here in my spinner. Frank Black Francis standing as a line of demarkation is simply not possible. |
