wow. you know i actually buy it.
edit:
so now we need to know for sure that they're not supposed to be wired up. at the very least though it's a misrepresentation. |

Is it a direct connection with Jesus? May be it's a just a GPS System? May be it's a battery that gives him an electric shockif he fell asleep? You might have already knew he was a puppet.

I have to imagine that if the president was going to be wired, he'd have something a little more sophisticated than an actual wire. Could be that it's just one of those tie fasteners so the tie stays in place. Though usually they go to the button, so maybe not...
There must be some technology better than wearing a radio on your belt or whatever... also, if that's the case, wouldn't it be possible to see a wire along his neck up to his ear? Even if it was flesh coloured, I don't see anything.

it seems pretty amateurish but keep in mind that it would probably be the campaign doing this and not like the secret service or some other government agency. |

i honestly had that thought duirng the debate. there were times when he was at a complete loss for words and it almost seemed like he was listening to something, and then he'd blurt something out.
as if he had a microscopic device implanted in his ear (that's more how i imagined it).. but then i figured that's too crazy.

There have been numerous occasions where people have picked up radio frequencies where they heard someone else saying exactly what Bush says, seconds before Bush says it.
The bulge on his back in the first election looks mighty suspicious...and i apparently he said that no shots were to be taken from behind....?
Here's another site covering this:

Unfortunately it's as i'm posting this, maybe it'll be back..

The way Kerry is starting to pass Bush in the polls and beating him in debates, I think Democrats (and people who want Bush defeated) would be better served pointing out Bush's flawed decisions (and inability to admit to ANY mistakes) rather than speculating about him being wired. But, as long as it's not the DNC or the Kerry campaign wasting their time I guess there's real harm. |

look if we all have learned anything from the public school system it's that cheating is worse than making mistakes.
so bush should be suspended and have to clean the grease off the desks in the rec room after the chess club meetings. |

At first I thought there would be better technology too, but a wireless, microscopic earpiece probably requires a larger, nearby reciever.

erm I only saw the picture with a slight ruffle on his jacket, I saw no black wire. http://www.salon.com/news/feature/2004/10/08/bulge/index_np.html
thats the picture I saw, thats an ill fitting suit, thats all. I assumed that the link at the top of the page here was that. ------------------------ “I want to be a star!” I cried They said, “You’re overqualified. Why don’t you learn to tune your damn guitar?” |

"The agreement set by the debate commission barred shots of the candidates from the rear of the stage -- a provision reportedly demanded by RNC negotiator James Baker. (It also specified only hardwired podium microphones for the first debate, i.e. no lapel mics.)"
Of course a wireless mic would recieve his feed! Why aren't people more suspicious? Christ Almighty, this is incredible. I still get so mad that he's our president and I'm extremely nervous about the upcoming election.
Weird thing is, why did FOX ignore the "no shots from behind" rule? Could it be fox isn't in cahoots with Bush as much as people think? Or is that just what they want us to think?

I'm always suspicious. That's why I don't just accept that it's a wireless mic and he's being fed info without thinking of both sides. The agreement re: no shots from the rear of the stage is interesting but surely any of the people in those shots would make out a receiver if a camera could. And I did wonder why no lapel mics, but that one doesn't look wired does it? Plus there are certainly enough frequencies that it wouldn't interfere.
That said, I don't see what's so shocking about Bush being told what to say/do, has this not been a staple of his 'leadership' since day one?

Do you know Bush's taylor is French? Now Republicans are gonna hate us even more, because of the bulge in his suit...

I definitely noticed a bulge in his upper back during the first debate, the way he was slumped over the podium and how ill-fitting his jacket seemed to be. I thought he had unusually bad posture. I wouldn't doubt for a minute that the "Bush Crime Family" (as Mike Malloy from Air America calls them) is up to more dirty tricks. They lie daily- why should we doubt this? Plus, it's common knowledge that Cheney's running the White House. Hoo ha. |

But I believe there was an arrangement that Ashcroft could personally choose the drapes for those pesky nude statues ("The Majesty of Justice" and "The Spirit of Justice").
