Would I be right in thinking that us in the UK are 8 hours ahead of forum time..so for instance if it was i dunno....3PM forum time it would be 11PM Uk time?

What time is it there right now? Also, your sig has to be smaller.
I can't say for sure, but I think it might be at 10PM UTC/GMT/Zulu.

Forum time is PST (Pacific Standard Time) aka Victoria, British Columbia, Canada (and Los Angeles and Seattle). It's three hours behind of New York.
