Look at these questions. There are some that would be literally impossible to answer without reading someone's mind (The Realist's, maybe). I worked my ass off to get that ticket for my "associate," and instead she had to spend $750 of my money on it (yes, I'll be taking that deduction), but -- the point is -- this quiz is a bunch of bullroar. |

Okay...huh? Before I even checked a Nirvana song database to be sure, I could have told you Nirvana never covered a single Pixies song -- and certainly not frequently. Have the answers to these questions been posted yet? I really want to see this.

Passion. Let me tell you.... it took me forever to get a hold of the Realist and even longer to get my ticket. I had to wait at McDonald’s for a least an hour until she got off work. It was a little ridiculous, but it was worth the wait to pay face value for my ticket. Did you try the Realist’s contest email address? By the way, I beat you fair and square.

The Passion of El Diablo = Many similar writing traits, also desires to have an arch-enemy, with no better method of expediting that than creating it himself.
ShaunWestphal = Chislic ended up with The Realist's ticket, therefore how convenient that Chislic is ShaunWestphal's roommate.
Chislic = The drama that played out before our eyes of Chislic's sob story and The Realist's awarding him the ticket made for a lot of glory on Chislic's part.
The Calistanian = Since I am questioning other members, I have to throw myself in there for consideration as well.

Hold on there Klikger. I'm NOT the Realist. That's crazy talk. You could be the Realist posting as Klikger for all I know. The only person I can confirm isn’t the Realist is myself & my damn roommate ShaunWestphal. (aka Passion lover) Just like most of you I thought this Realist person was up to something, but I was later surprised by winning the Realist’s contest. Although I don’t care much for her posts here on the board, I’m eternally grateful that she was cool enough to carry through with it. Thanks again Realist!

(I saved the link to this message board on his computer & he’s been bothering me ever since) I encourage everyone to take it! Let’s get to the bottom of this! Chizzy, I guess I have to add you to the list of people I admire/obsess over along with the Passion. I still think Cal makes the strongest point when supsecting you're the Realist. I know Passion's not because I'm in love with him, but not the Realist. I know Cal's not cause he's too nice. I know it's not me cause I would never give you a ticket after you accuse me of being a Dave fan (side note, don't even throw me that, "only fans refer to DMB as "Dave" trip, I was making a joke). The answers I receive were a little shaky which leads me to almost wonder if people just wanted to try to get the ticket to turn a profit. The reason I am asking you as you seem like one of the more sincere Pixie fans on the board and there's no way I'm giving it to some of those other people. I am assuming you live in the Twin Cities as I do (if not, i'm not sure this will work). If you are willing, I would only ask two things:
payment for the ticket's face value ($25) and
that you do not post anything on the forum about this email or the
contest
If you are interested please let me know ASAP. I work all day Monday but could meet you Monday eve to get the ticket to you as I'm sure Tuesday will bring much confusion.

Is Jacka the Realist? Or is that some sick Realist joke in the e-mail? Or is that e-mail even real? Chislic, you're raising more questions than you're providing answers. How about a description of what the Realist looked like, if the Realist really is female, if so, what she was wearing and whether you asked for her phone number . . . those sorts of things.
I can tell you one thing about that e-mail that makes me suspicious . . . I know for a fact that I got 45 or 46 correct on that quiz, and my answers were far from "shaky." So, either (1) the Realist didn't like my lovable board personality and didn't want to give me the ticket, or (2) the Realist never planned to give it to anyone other than Chislic. If the latter scenario is correct, then that would make Chislic and ShaunWestphal the prime suspects. This would also explain why ShaunWestphal harasses me all the time on this board and tries to establish this weird connection with me, acting like a parrot to everything I say about the Pixies or whatever. Nice try, guys. But I think things are getting a little clearer for me, Cal, and others. |

First off...thanks for editing your post Passion, it was horrendous.
Second, I have nothing against Chislic, but I question the validity of that e-mail also. The main reason for that is I want this "The Mole: Pixies Ticket Version" to last a little longer. It developed way too fast.
