If I hadn't seen the band before these shows, then the setlists are a very good mix of songs from the original run and a handful of newer ones. The sets do seem to be leaning to slightly fewer songs than we've been used to for the last decade, but it's still a great list.
I do wonder if we have a slightly similar situation to when they were promoting 'Indie Cindy' - another record with a rather troubled production and where several of the tracks never got a live airing. Again, puzzling not to hear some of the rockier songs.
Snakes has actually become one of my favorite 2.0 songs live, feels kind of mysterious spacey weird thing
Yeah completely agree about Snakes live. When I saw them on Head Carrier tour (2016 - can't believe that's 9 years ago now) it was one of the best songs.
Joey started with weird spacey distortions (couldn't tell what song it was going to turn into) and they extended the instrumental sections to sound like a Vamos stomp with Joey sprinkling sci fi vibes all over the place. Completely changed my view of that song because of that performance.
