seriously, someone needs to put a stop to this whole retro-80's New York coke-whore sheik. what happened to that wholesome, girl-next-door Scarlett Johansson?

Eww. I can't agree more. She looks like a million other boring looking girls now.

How old is she now? 19? I can't believe she was only 16 during the filming of Ghost World. She looks at least 18 in that. She kind of reminds me of Donna from That 70s Show.

I dunno who this girl is (figure she's an actress) but she looks a lot better in the second photograph. The first one looks like a picture from the wall of a cheap hairdressers that hasn't refurbished since the 80's!!!

Once again, what the hell do people see in her? She was never attractive but now she's disgusting.

Oh Scarlett, no

I think the "wholesome girl next door" Scarlett that you found appealing was a GIRL. She's growing up and probably figuring out who she is going to be. Lord knows I shudder at any pictures I see of myself at 18, 19, etc, and I can't imagine that many people over 25 fully identify with who they were as a teenager.

I wouldn't worry too much, whatever she looks like now, she is going to change a million more times before she settles on anything and maybe she will go back to that "wholesome girl next door".

Give her a break.

no, no breaks. she's not allowed to change..

i've never been that into her. just a temporary crush after watching LOST IN TRANSLATION.. i just find it amazing how much she's changed in the last year, now that she's become the "it" girl.. and i stand by my opinion that the 80's coke-whore look is unattractive, for anyone.. i mean look at her hair in that Moviemaker Magazine picture. i just find that look a shame (though it can be cute sometimes)

Alrighty then.

I would just (again!) say that the amount any girl changes between 18 and 19 is amazing. Thank God we aren't all photographed and then picked apart, I wouldn't have made it out alive.

if you want, you're welcome to show us a step-by-step photo gallery of yourself, between the ages of 18 and, say .. the present.

i had never heard of her before the other week, but she just looked so trashy going to the BAFTA's.

she looks like Courtney Love's little crack-whore sister.
