So get this: I go to shop and ask if they have any swimwear, shop asssistant says yes goes and checks out the back, then brings forth a glorious creation of black embroiderie and sea shells, I practically fall over myself to pay the woman then some mongoloid steps in and says she can't sell the stuff to me - because they are not allowed to sell swimwear at Christmas.
Understandably I now want to spit, since that's part of my lunch hour I won't see again...
My question is whats the worst you've had inflicted on you during this highly commercial holiday season?
Every choice human being strives instinctively for a citadel and a secrecy where he is saved from the crowd - Nietzsche
i have found someone else who uses the word mongoloid in conversation.
i hate the way people don't tell me what they want, wait for me to spend all my money on probably the wrong thing, then take me round the shops on christmas eve pointing at things in the sale saying " i'd really like that for christmas ". Grrrr
Went back to my old student job to makes some bucks on the weekends this year. Yeah working 8 weeks without a day off...talk about retail hell. At the end of the day it was okay because it was a private shop and not some nasty multi-national. But the worst experience were the customers... "I really like you showing me all that but it isn't in my budget and just wanted to see how it worked"...fucking hell.
So I guess the point really lies in being broke and then taking on a second job during this highly commercial season is awful...thankfully my boss is a good guy and understood I just didn't want to work boxing day.
I know it is winter, but, never trust a man who wears a fur coat.
