Check this out our national alternative radio station JJJ (which is the only decent radio station here) is having a poll for the best albums of 2002 and there are over 300 albums listed from which to vote, and Frank isn't among them. Probably about a hundred of the albums are by independent Aussie acts, but gee there are some shithouse international bands listed. http://www.abc.net.au/triplej/2002/albums/vote.htm
So i guess the chances of him touring here are non-existant. I was a bit surprised to see former Husker Du frontman Bob Mould tour here (playing this Sunday in Melbourne), but even he has his latest album available to vote for. At least the Breeders are touring here in Februrary.
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - B.R.M.C. David Bowie - Heathen Doves - The Last Broadcast Flaming Lips - Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots George - Polyserena Beth Gibbons & Rustin' Man - Out Of Season Interpol - Turn On The Bright Lights Lambchop - Is A Woman Royksopp - Melody AM Spoon - Kill The Moonlight Paul Weller - Illumination Wilco - Yankee Hotel Foxtrot Neil Young - Are You Passionate?
Yeah, considering who's on the list it's very strange FB isn't there...pretty good taste over all.
