Has to be Bob Marly...although my sex would have to magically change and I would have to be transported back in time to be a 3-I but the thought of melodically repeating worlds like spiff would be worth it.

For Example:

Bob: Spliff
3-I's: Spliff

Bob: Oh Lord I gotta take a whiff
3-I's: Wiff

Bob: From reality I just can't drift
3I's: drift

and so on....

I wanna be a Pip! I always tell my friend "everyone needs their own Pips" - wouldn't it be great to have a trio echoing everything important that you say in a dramatic & melodic fashion??

Oh yeah, love those Pips. And they would frequently punctuate things with "Woo-woo!"

I think the hand signals would be the best part of being a pip...all those childrens songs merged into to motown...

Yeah, "woo-woo" with the up and down arm motion (sort of like when you try to get a truck driver to beep the horn) - love me those Pips!

I think the beastie boys would be easiest to sing backup with. All you have to do is accent the last word of every phrase in every song.

A real obvious one would be Frank Black and the Catholics...was listening to Pistolero last night and teh whole "billy radcliffe" line would be cool to back up.

The background vox on "Headache" would be cool to do. God knows I have one...

Hermaphroditos has that fun sing-along chorus. Sending aspirin vibes your way, Zanni. Ack. I think I've got Ricola poisoning.

I think there should be more background singers in Opera.

Hmmm, I reckon would have to be Bill Withers in his stint doing backing vocals on you've lost that loving feeling coz it makes me chuckle every time!

Or I wouldn't mind being one of the Miracles just to be able to do the Dum-DEE-Dum-De-Di's on Mickey's Monkey or better yet as one of the gang on Chain Gang by Sam Cooke - one of the FINEST detroit sounds ever!...

Also cool are the guys who sang backup to Patsy Cline. Did they have a name? The Cowboys or something equally vauge?

Think it was the Patsy's or something...Backing up the Police would be good too: "Put on the red light...Put on the red light" and so on and so forth...
