Has to be Bob Marly...although my sex would have to magically change and I would have to be transported back in time to be a 3-I but the thought of melodically repeating worlds like spiff would be worth it.
For Example:
Bob: Spliff
3-I's: Spliff
Bob: Oh Lord I gotta take a whiff
3-I's: Wiff
Bob: From reality I just can't drift
3I's: drift
and so on....

I think the beastie boys would be easiest to sing backup with. All you have to do is accent the last word of every phrase in every song.

A real obvious one would be Frank Black and the Catholics...was listening to Pistolero last night and teh whole "billy radcliffe" line would be cool to back up.

Hmmm, I reckon would have to be Bill Withers in his stint doing backing vocals on you've lost that loving feeling coz it makes me chuckle every time!
Or I wouldn't mind being one of the Miracles just to be able to do the Dum-DEE-Dum-De-Di's on Mickey's Monkey or better yet as one of the gang on Chain Gang by Sam Cooke - one of the FINEST detroit sounds ever!...
