Haha! Oh man, I think I'm all out of all-nighters. I don't remember sleeping at all during graduate school--just switching from beer to coffee at some point near morning and going back to class. You have my sympathy. |

Alternates between smut and just life-in-general stuff. I think it started in the Michael Jackson thread and then settled in this one. Frank's not really doing much at the moment, so this kind of relieves the tedium. |

That sounds like a euphemism.

No one's in the Henhouse when I come a-knockin'
I must be up too late. Or maybe that chicken hawk beat me here and you've all been reduced to feathers and pieces of beak.
If a man posts in an empty chat room, does it make one's and zero's?

Ferrets can swim a bit, but it looks more like they're trying to walk in water.
As for being a poor man's otter, the $700 adrenal surgery my boy ferret needs tells me that they're not.
Incedentally, I once edited a story about a real English sport called "ferret legging" where men put two wild, clawed ferrets down their pants and try to see who can last the longest. They can't wear underwear and they have to tie the legs up at the bottom. The record was 6 minutes for a long time and it was actually a spectator sport until one guy broke the record and had them in there for six hours. After that, the sport died out. Can anyone from the UK add insight to this?

Oh Andy, I am in hell! Will elaborate later, but involves listening to a large amount of Swingle Swingers LPs. Soon they will move on to Rolf Harris. Help!
I think the guy with the six hour ferret legging record could only have been some kind of fetishist. |

Heh-heh. We're at my husband's place of work, converting my father-in-laws LPs to CD. It's a siege--he woke us up at dawn and off they went. I want to go hooome!

You're not going to let me live this down, are you? :-) We listened to the Lowlands interview two nights ago and Bob choked and nearly shot beer out of his nose. It's just brutal.
Someone's Pinched Me Winkles!

Real Englishmen use hedgehogs. It makes a better spectator sport. I recommend 3 at a time for a challenge.

Should be gone by tonight. They're unusally opressive today. Or else I'm just unusually intolerant. Whichever--my patience is at an end. |

What state of tumescence was Mr Huff in? I fear .|. is a bit inaccurate. V had to leave the room during the Lowlands interview. I only wish Frank had too.
Any Seekers albums in there? |

Seekers? I'm afraid to look. They've moved on to New Christy Minstrels. Saints preserve us.
Mr. Huff was not in top form. And it was his idea! Idiot. If ever we refer to him in our household, it is simply as "Idiot." |

Hahaha! No doubt! Honestly, I would have had more fun by myself. I should have just kicked them both out of the bed. |

Cockles! Winkles! Blethering and havering! It's all too much for me to process!
Went ahead and listened to Sunshine on Leith the other day coz it had been a while. So Andy, why DO you let someone else rule your land!? |

We're such a giving people! Anyway, the Union of the Parliaments was in 1707 (Union of Crowns in 1603 to those who are interested). We now have a devolved assembly (since 1999) - woo hoo!
The Proclaimers frequently visit the same playparks as us with their families. I'm not quite sure how relevant that is. |

Aw hell, it's the HH! Relevant enough. Are they still identical? (My mother is an identical twin, and they've only recently begun to drift away from each other in appearance.) |
