Boston is about the only city that has ever interested me in the States. I wouldn't mind seeing San Fran as well. But that is about it. How long have you been in Boston? Is it a cool place? Did you go to the Avalon show?

I've been here almost eight years, which seems impossible. Coincendentially enough, I did move at one point to live in San Francisco for like nine months. They are similar cities, both coastal with many neighberhoods and of the relatively same size.
I did go to the Avalon show, I have also seen His Majesty twice at the Paradise - which is a v. cool club.
What's a matter, Andy? Hope my incessent beak questioning is not pissing you off. Did like the joke - here is another;

| PS. Do not know Reading very much - there are SO MANY towns in this state it is unbelievable. I do know New Hampshire some, but mostly just from driving through on the way to Vermont. |

I don't know if he has played in New Hampshire - it is so much "in the middle" in a way, seems like they could all come here.
Avalon show was amazing. I spent most of it in a warm glow of "I LOVE MUSIC" - they were just so together and flawless, it was really inspiring. |

I am about fifteen minutes outside of the Big Smoke. (Toronto) I am originally from just outside of Dublin. Just to the south. Bray to be exact.
Now that I think about it, I remember reading your post about the show Ramona. It was well written and well said. I have had that feeling before. I remember thinking how much I enjoyed music when Frank came to support the Cult of Ray album. It was amazing.

| Yeah, Cult of Ray era was when I saw him the first time - and this time I remember saying to my friend "music is just like a whole other language - either you get it or you don't." When people say they don't really like or care about music, I just want to walk away. Anyway...maybe that is another post - or perhaps our critics will be happy cause we are actually discussing Frank! |

Frankly (get it!?), I don't care what our critics think. They can unfortunatley kiss my ass. I agree so whole heartedly with you regarding your views on music. I don't care to remember what I was like before I found a true passion for my walkman, my instruments and music. Frank says it the best when he sings about the joy and saving grace his walkman is for him in 'I Heard Ramona Sing.'

I don't know? Maybe ask your boyfriend/girlfriend/husband to change their name to music!? Then you could say I am married/dating music. How cool would that be. I'm an idiot. Don't fret over the restrictions or being out of control, there are far more important things to keep your mind occupied than that. I guess we will cross that bridge when we come to it, or when it comes to us. I have noticed the beat cops cruising through the henhouse now and then. Oh well!
