Frank and the Catholics were on for just over 1.5 hours. My life as a groupie lasted about another half hour. After that it was into the pub until closing time. Great memories...

I guess we should all just acquiesce to Ebb's demands, and not talk about anything that he doesn't deem important enough to post on. Should we submit it to you first, Ebb? After a lengthy screening process in which he decides if A.) the post has anything remotely to do with any of HIS own interests, hobbies, etc., or B.) the post includes any material that he can find fault with, and attempt to subvert someone's own opinions for, Ebb will get back with you at his own convenience to let you know if your topic is Ebb-worthy.
Or, better yet, why don't we all just go somewhere else and let Ebb post his wonderfully profound and knowledge-imbuing posts so that no one can interrupt his greatness, or sully his all-knowingness with their useless drivel?

i understand that it takes up a good deal of room on the page, but this is the "general" chat, and therefore, the threads aren't supposed to have any sort of "point" other than what WE, the users, want it to be. if we intend to chat on and on and on about "nothing" as you put it, then thats our right to do so. just as you have the right to voice your opinion, or not come in here. however, although your opinion is allowed, and wanted, it is not more important than ours, the collective "henhousers." dave n himself, as said by sarah, has opted NOT to trim this down - therefore, its a difference of a mod + about 10-15 loyal posters vs. your opinion. although this is not a democracy, in this case, i'd think it makes more sense to go with the numbers.
