Maybe its just me but anime really exploded upon the states in the last year or so. Maybe i was too young to notice it grow, but now i'm fascinated by the whole japanesse culture. I'm i just a Sheep followint the crowd? Am i too close to truly judge that which i love?
I need suggestions

'evangelion' is the best anime show i´ve ever seen.
'lan' and 'cowboy beebop' are also great.
i´ve never seen it, but people say 'akira' is great...

I'm not really a big fan of anime per se (I used to be), but I really, REALLY liked Cowboy Bebop. Excellent stuff.

Ninja scroll and Akira are the best movies I've seen so far. Fire up the Kazaa if you have the bandwidth.

Anime never grabbed me. Some people get really obsessed with that shit, and the whole Japanese culture. It's too time consuming, really...cause you have to see the whole series in order to fully enjoy it. So it gets in the way of other things. I dunno, I just never got into it.
