first he does this like vortex thing with a bassdrum that sends out a ring of smoke. possibly the coolest looking thing ive seen in a long time. then he has the sparking pickle which is a classic science experiment, but cool none the less. then he has this rock which is supposedly from a meteor that was found in china that contains many rare metals. he does a bunch of thingswith it like make a lightbulb explode, a cellphone light on fire, and a halogen light light up, pretty cool. im not sure if the stuff with the meteorite is real or just well rigged, its really hard to tell so that makes it good.

My sister video taped his set at Saratoga Winners...perhaps someday I can cap it and export it to VCD-compliant MPEG and upload it :)

He selected me as an assistant at a show and I did the money/which hand is the ball in thing with him. Even being right up there I couldn't tell if it was rigged or not, it did seem pretty darn legit. It was fun, of course I lost all three times!

I caught the classic act at the Warsaw last week, and when he asked if anybody wanted to guess "what his favorite hobby is" Somebody behind me (I was in the front) shouted "Making believe you're Debbie G?" As if on cue. Nice to know people are prepping for shows, you know, doing their homework. Wonder if that person's a forum member.

wasn't warsaw an interesting venue? that the feel of either a 50's dance hall, or a concert in a museum. |
