Um, a suggestion for the web site. I know it would some work, but I think since there are so many posts about "what is Skeleton Man about?" and such, I'd like to see a definative list of song topics. Basically a comprehensive compilation of clippings from interviews, statements made at concerts, and perhaps even some educated guesses about the meaning of each song. In addition perhaps there could even be links to pertinant information (for instance a link to a Ramones web site for "I heard Ramona Sing")
I've always enjoyed the cryptic lyrics in Frank's songs, but always wind up being curious what it all means. I know it sounds ambitious, but I think it would be a pretty nice archive. |

ooh ooh! i started something like this months ago, then abandoned it when i started working on the gigography. Then fb.net came into being and Jim was very much into doing the song index-type section, so I backed off and he got to work on a new, much improved one. I think his Bennie commitments have been hindering his progress, but it should be up one of these days, I'd imagine.

The Black Vault used to have something like this, if I reacall correctly. Maybe somebody knows how to get in touch with the guy (Jared, I think).

| You can still get in touch with the Black Vault guy (yep, Jared) by visiting levitated.net. I don't know whether he's receptive to talking about Frank stuff, but that's his site. Black Vault was great and should be ransacked for material if he doesn't want it anymore! Avast! |

I've contacted Jared but he never wrote back after the inital reply...argh. I'll stay in limbo and pick at it. I won't give up just yet. But once I have the DB complete...will Mark be able to import it and such?
