I have read that many of you have enjoyed Reid Paley Trio, even if not, go ahead and check out his site: http://www.REIDPALEY.com/ . He really is an interesting songwriter with a witty sense of lyric and a ballsy gravelly voice. His songs continue to resound in my ears! Check it out.
Had the chance to see Reid at the FB&C's shows at the Horseshoe the time before last in Toronto. He played solo - and I still feel like a dick because of the surrounding assholes who booed and kept chanting "Frank, Frank, Frank....." every time Reid would finish a song. No wonder he did not come back for this last tour. Too bad for the people who would have appreciated him. Blame the (hopefully) drunkin' arseholes who couldn't bring themselves to be polite for the entertainer and the interested audience. Good news on the website though!
