i didn't know helmet was back ... found their website http://www.helmetband.com/ the other day surfing, supposedly they have a best of cd out in best buy for cheap as hell ... their best of cd's HEAVY!!!

I thought the drummer for Helmet joined up with Mike Patton and is now in Tomahawk!

He has no time for Helmet. I'm certain Patton can keep him busy and the music is alot more interesting to listen to.

I enjoy Helmet but alot of their songs sound the same.

I was at Helmet's supposed "last show" at the 930 club in DC. I didn't even go to see them, but the Melvins who were opening. Still, they were pretty cool live...but they do have a kind of samey sound after a while. I had a friend who used to whack off to Page Hamilton-this kid was obsessed. When I told him that I unknowingly attended the last Helmet show, he almost strangled me.
