Pixies Announce Shows Before And After Coachella
While it almost collapsed at the last minute, Pixies frontman Frank Black confirms that the reunited Pixies will be doing a few warmup dates in Canada in April prior to their grand coming out party at the Coachella music fest on May 1. After that, there are dates confirmed with the Red Hot Chili Peppers in june in Dublin and in Paris - tentative dates in Brazil and Japan. Pixies guitarist Joey Santiago is putting finishing touches on a solo record with Josh Freese from A Perfect Circle. The record is scheduled to be released late spring.

Yeah, I only heard about this the other day... presumably it's all instrumental, like 'Dirty Little Fuckers', which would be no bad thing... unless the boy can sing too -- he seems a bit quiet for that though!

Linda Mallari looks like a cross between Angelica Huston and Jennifer Tilly! I've never seen any Martini's albums in music shops, I wonder just how available they are to the general public...do you have to order on-line?

I got my copy of the Martinis cd through mp3.com way back in the day. They then released an extended ep, and since then, according to their homepage have been in "writing" mode.
