I heard this on the radio the other day. Somebody matched John's vocal from "Day in the Life" to the instrumental track from Radiohead's Karma Police. I know these mash-ups are all the rage with the kids these days. Conceptually it seems like the most obvious thing in the world, but it really blew my mind a bit. I rarely get all Beatles-sentimental but this I found strangely affecting.
Anybody know who did this? It was on a Clear Channel station, so it can't be that underground.
You don't have to do anything but listen to know that Radiohead's "Creep" came from The Hollies "All I need is the Air that I breathe."
Take a listen.
What does that say about Radiohead? Nothing excpet that they steal from good sources just like every good artist does to a certain degree. No dig on Radiohead. It's not a bad thing.

I'd hardly call the Hollies a "good source" to steal from. In what way do you see that they took "Creep" from that cheeseball-ass song?
