being 34-i lived the original pixies culture-i remember being kinda lonely in that culture and reveled in it-shows that were crowded but not chaotic-remember being proud of playing them on my radio show in college and having a handful of freaky-yet tasteful fellow students call and say who the hell is that-its great-as i read these post and all these frantic threads where did all of ya come from-i mean its really amazing that there is this much excitement about them( me included) but just curious as to the ages of all these pixies people-oh yeah us elderpixies people we have a secret world and we demand and require respect from the new rabid fans-but the pixies world works on seniority-we have the pick of where we want to be at the shows or else we will use our pixies ray guns that came with the original release of come on pilgrim (only with the original release) and zap you back to the scene from which you came from-no really i am very happy to see the buzz on this monumental band who has kept me rockin all these years -cant wait to see ya pixies-
and by the way frank-wanted to let ya know that the catholics stuff is very cross generational my 65 year dad thinks you are amazing-went to visit a few weeks ago and he was down at the dock listening to "show me your tears" while cleaning the boats up-keep that spirit you got alive man-a lot of us really get it and appreciate it!!!!!
