I've got a reasonable-size DVD collection,'though a friend of mine's is bigger(whoops, double-entendree!). Anyway, a couple of movies I watched recently: Herzog's Nosferatu-excellent, very atmospheric..it's in German but was filmed in Delft, Holland. The Hitcher;not as good as I remembered, it has quite a few action sequences, they could of made it creepier. Also, Coppala's Rumblefish, very good, not much story but absolutely stunning visually. Mickey Rourke is actually pretty good in it(also good in Angel Heart). Great cast..Matt Dillon, Rourke, Dennis Hopper, Nic Cage, Chris Penn...and Tom Waits! Plus cool music by Stewart Copeland. Lotta films I wanna catch up on....

I'm trying to build of my DVD collection as well. Those babies are addicting. I just got Office Space, The Big Lebowski, X-men 1 & 2, and What About Bob.

I just watched Y Tu Mama Tambien last night, it's such a beautiful film...I highly suggest it. I got it at Best Buy before Christmas for like, $8. Check out www.deepdiscountdvd.com , they usually have some sweet fuckin deals, though I don't know if they ship internationally. I just got Family Guy Volume 1 the other day for $20!!

Do you still work at Best Buy, Jim? The 10 dollar DVDs always reduce to 8.18 for some reason.
